I have yet to understand the need for a governmental agency such as the FCC (Fascists Controlling Communications); dare I say, the need for many governmental agencies.

Think about it: they unequivocally produce policies that they expect people to adhere to, but how can you possibly operate within the confines of such a policy when you don’t even know what the policy means? For example, if a song panders to the sexual interests of an audience, it is prohibited under the clarification of the FCC’s Indecency Policy.

Okay, if you say so.

What may “pander to the sexual interests” of me may not to you and vice versa, so how could you possibly expect to enforce such ambiguity? Why even attempt to do such a thing? (more…)
